Synchro Series #1 – Bill Phillips

Skate Ontario is pleased to announce the addition of Friday evening competition for Synchro Series #1 -Bill Phillips. Due to an overwhelming number of registrations, we have extended the ice booking to increase participation at this event. The event schedule will begin on Friday at 6:00 pm. The full schedule for Bill Phillips will be posted by Friday, October 26.
The local host club is looking for volunteers to assist in the execution of the event. If you are interested and available to give a few hours of your time, please contact Denise Christensen at email@example.com.
Synchro Series #2 – Winterfest 2019 & ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championship Qualifier

*Registration for Winterfest 2019 will open on Wednesday, October 24, at the following times:
- 12:00 pm: Juvenile, Pre-Novice, Novice, Intermediate
- 2:00 pm: Open, Junior, Senior, Adult I, Adult II, Adult III
*Registration for Winterfest closes on Sunday, November 4 at 11:59 pm.
*Please note – All teams are required to create and upload a profile and team list (an excel file of team members, for example) on the Skate Ontario registration site (www.registration.skateontario.org) prior to the registration opening. Please have the following information ready for registration:
- team name
- team home club
- team Skate Canada number
- coach email address
- chaperone list
Monitoring with a judge and technical official will be offered at an additional cost for all teams registered in Skate Canada qualifying categories (Intermediate, Open, Novice, Junior and Senior), and in the Juvenile and Pre-Novice categories. A separate registration is required for team monitoring.
A monitoring charge of $25 per team will be applied at the time of registration.
Details regarding monitoring will be communicated with teams closer to the competition date. The schedule for monitoring will be sent out to team managers before the event and will also be available at the registration desk.
*Registration for team monitoring will close at 11:59 pm on Sunday, November 4.
NEW! Practice Ice:
Practice ice will be available for purchase through Skate Ontario at the CAA Centre on Friday, January 4 and Saturday, January 5. Registration for practice ice will become available on November 5, 2018 at 12:00 noon and will close on November 12 at 11:59 pm. A draft Winterfest schedule will be released when the practice ice registration opens. Please refer to http://skateontario.org/event/synchro-series-winterfest/ for further details. Practice will be available in half hour blocks at $200 per team.
Please send team photos to Lauren Zbucki at firstname.lastname@example.org by Thursday, November 15 to guarantee inclusion in the Winterfest program. Late photos will not be accepted.
